Delete your account & data

You can ask us to permanently delete your ToonShala account at any time. This page tells you how, what gets removed, what we have to keep for a short while, and how long the whole thing takes.

1. Delete from inside the app

The fastest way is to open the ToonShala app and tap Profile → Delete my account & data. A confirmation dialog walks you through it and opens a pre-filled email so we can confirm your request from the address that owns the account.

Send a request from the email address used to sign in to: toonshala.com@gmail.com with the subject line “Account deletion request”.

Indian tax + consumer-protection rules require us to keep a short audit trail of payments and refunds for up to 7 years. If you ever made a purchase, we keep:

These records cannot be linked back to a useable profile after deletion — the original account is gone, and only the financial trail remains.

5. How long the deletion takes

We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the full deletion within 30 days. You will get an email when it is done. After that there is no way to recover the data — please download anything you want to keep beforehand.

6. Children and family accounts

ToonShala accounts must be owned by a parent or guardian. The owner can delete the account at any time using either method above. Children cannot submit deletion requests on their own.
