Pillion — a Toonshala product

Bike commute-sharing for office commuters in India.

Pillion (pillion.marsysgroup.com) is a peer-to-peer commute-sharing app built by Marsys Group and operated by Toonshala. Riders who already travel to work on a two-wheeler can offer their empty pillion seat to colleagues on the same route, and share only the fuel cost — it is not a taxi or commercial service.

Safety and verification

Riders verify their identity before offering seats: Aadhaar offline e-KYC (Secure QR, checked against UIDAI's signature), and a Driving Licence check — by our team today, and through DigiLocker with the user's consent once our DigiLocker integration is approved. We keep only what the check needs (for a licence: the result, a masked number, validity and vehicle classes) and never sell or share personal data.
